★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a local tourist destination. Situ Gede is a Sundaneses' word. It mean a big lake. Last Saturday my community and I stopped here for a while. We took a rest while we were on a cycling tour from Pagelaran to Situ Burung. Many families came and enjoyed water recreation. Some traders of traditional food and drink were available. I and my group tested "degan" drink. "Degan" means young coconut water.. It s good to drink when thirsty for travel. This site is next to CIFOR Bogor office an international forestry research center.

I like the forest beside it. Feels fresh inside the forest. Caution for forest mosquitos. Better wear a long sleeve or long handed shirt.
And another coutry road leads to another tiny lake. Are worth to try.
