★ ★ ★ ★ ★ tidak banyak yang tahu atau mungkin tidak tahu sama sekali,kantor perhutani di pertigaan yos sudarso ke arah sempor ini adalah kantor BKPH (Bagian Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan) Gombong Selatan,yang berinduk pada kantor KPH(Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan)Purworejo,bawahan dari Divisi Regional Perhutani BUMN.Orang awam hanya tau kantor perhutani entah perhutani bagian apa,BKPH GOMBONG SELATAN INI,dipimpin oleh seorang ASPER (assiten perhutani,istilah jadulnya sinder) membawahi hutan negara yg berada di daerah Gombong sebelah selatan dari karang bolong sampai jatijajar.Di bawah nya struktur orientasi kerja BKPH ada cabangnya yaitu RESORT.
 Not many people know or maybe don't know at all, the Perhutani office at the Yos Sudarso T-junction towards Sempor is the Gombong Selatan BKPH (Forest Management Unit) office, which is headquartered at the Purworejo Forest Management Unit (KPH) office, subordinate to the Regional Division of Perhutani BUMN. Ordinary people only know the Perhutani office who knows what part, BKPH GOMBONG SELATAN THIS, is led by an ASPER (Perhutani assistant, the term is cinder) in charge of the state forest located in the Gombong area south of Karang perforated to Jatijajar. Underneath the structure BKPH work orientation has a branch, namely RESORT.

Disamping untuk Kantor area ini juga untuk menampung Kayu hasil hutan seperti kayu jati dan sejenisnya yang telah di panglong selanjudnya mau dilelang untuk umum maupun badan usaha kayu bangunan.. Untuk karyawan Perhutani sendiri ada setaf di kantor pun petugas lapangan yang orang awam menyebut Polisi hutan yang memelihara dan mengawasi juga menyelamatkan hutan milik negara yang dikelola agar kelestarian tetep terawat dengan baik karena merupakan Aset.. Untuk itu ada yang di tumbang dan ada penanaman kembali atau reboisasi..
