★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sekitar awal tahun 80-an, ada beberapa teman di Cianjur yg cukup jago bukutangkis. Untuk ukuran Cianjur ga ada yg bisa ngalahin lah. Dia ingin seperti jagoan-jagoan bulutangkis Indonesia saat itu : Rudi Hartono, Liem Swie King, Christian Hadinata, dll. Dia pun ingin dan yakin kalo dia bisa seperti mereka membawa harum bangsa melalui dunia bulutangkis.
Hari ini mimpi itu masih ada, tetap ada. Mimpi itu ada disetiap kayuhan pedal becak yg dia kayuh setiap hari.
Dia tidak bisa membawa harum Indonesia, keluar aja bertanding untuk Cianjur, kotanya, dia tidak bisa.
Saat itu tidak ada pihak, baik pemda mau pun para pengusaha Cianjur yg tertarik untuk membantu calon-calon juara olah raga yg berasal dari Cianjur bisa membuktikan kemampuannya di tingkat berikutnya, provinsi atau nasional.
Adanya Kantor KONI di Kab. Cianjur dengan segala fasilitasnya seperti sekarang, semoga bisa mewujdkan mimpi-mimpi para muda Cianjur dengan pembinaan yg sangat baik, agar mereka bisa menunjukkan bahwa Cianjur adalah gudangnya para juara olah raga.
