★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Selo adalah desa di Kecamatan Tawangharjo, Grobogan, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Nama desa inilah yang disebut-sebut dalam naskah Babad Tanah Jawi sebagai tempat asal dari Ki Ageng Sela, tokoh yang dianggap menurunkan raja-raja Kesultanan Mataram.
Terdapat delapan dusun yang tercakup dalam desa ini: Selo Krajan, Kebondalem, Tanen, Kauman, Pulo, Plumpungan, Ngrampakan, dan Drono. Fasilitas pendidikan yang terdata adalah 2 PAUD, 4 TK, 4 SD, 2 MI, 2 SMP, 2 SMA, dan 6 Ponpes.
Potensi Perekonomian= Pertanian (padi, jagung, kacang hijau), Peternakan (sapi, kambing, unggas, burung walet), Home Industri (pembuatan mie tepung, criping pisang, criping gadung, tempe kripik, kerupuk bakar, batik 'Ki Ageng Selo', kerajinan kulit imitasi-rampakan, pembuatan mukena bordir).
Kantor desa ini berada dekat dengan pasar dan searah menuju makam ki ageng selo sehingga jalanan menuju kantor desa dan balai desa sangatlah ramai sekali. Didepan kantor desa & balai desa terdapat sebuah masjid. Kantor ini masih proses pembangunan fasilitas yang akan menjadi lebih baik.
 Selo is a village in Tawangharjo District, Grobogan, Central Java, Indonesia. The name of this village is mentioned in the Babad Tanah Jawi manuscript as the place of origin of Ki Ageng Sela, a figure considered to have descended from the kings of the Sultanate of Mataram.
There are eight hamlets covered in this village: Selo Krajan, Kebondalem, Tanen, Kauman, Pulo, Plumpungan, Ngrampakan, and Drono. Educational facilities recorded are 2 PAUD, 4 TK, 4 SD, 2 MI, 2 SMP, 2 SMA, and 6 Ponpes.

The village office is close to the market and in the direction of the ageng ki selo tomb so that the road to the village office and the village hall is very crowded. In front of the village office & village hall there is a mosque. This office is still in the process of building facilities that will be better.
