★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited while in Yogya on a business trip, from Los Angeles.The guys at the shop were great, spoke English, and make some really nice instruments. Very cool that they can install a preamp right there if you want too. At home I have five guitars and ukes that I play including acoustic, electric, and acousta-electric so have plenty of experience shopping for stringed instruments - the range of quality of what they sell is excellent at all price points. I bought their cheapest ukulele as a souvenir gift for my two-year old son since he likes to imitate when I play. It cost me the equivalent of five US dollars and is easily as nice as beginner ukes for sale in the USA at the $40.to $60 price range, plus it is hand made ! At home I lowered the action and put some Aquila strings on it for when I want to play with it too, sounds and feels like a nicer version of a soprano Makala or Mahalo more or less. Definitely recommend this place if you like guitars or ukuleles, was definitely a highlight from my visit to Yogyakarta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is hidden betwen houses, so you need to pay attention to each aisle thay you pass, the guitars are good and cheap for beginner who want to learn to play guitar, it starts from Rp 450.000. You can get a well enough quality from Cowboy starts at Rp 700.000, its a small place but full of treasure. Make sure you check it out, before the other pick pocket your money, because other sell the guitar around Rp 800.000-million jajaja
