★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice quite place to dine or just have a quick coffee located just outside Yogyakarta.
The food we ordered are all delicious with an acceptable price. This place has vast variety of menu to choose from.
This place is not only great to hang out with friends or love, but it's also a perfect place to be alone and to contemplate about life.
Payment can be made by hard cash or debit cards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this place around 2018 from twitter posted by the owner. From that moment, I become a frequent visitor of Jiwajawi whenever I am in Jogja. The place is hidden in the montainouos area in Kasihan Bantul. To find the place is like finding a hidden gem. The area located in the very corner of the street and a bit on the edge.
Once you enter the area, you’ll find a frontyard and big Joglo. Very ethnic ambience. The place surrounded by greenery. They have a dining area in the main building, long table in the terrace balcony, and open space for picnic. If you want to find a place which child friendly this is the right place.
All the menu are reaaallyyy good. All delicious. My favorite all time beverage is “Arjuna” — coffee with coconut milk and jelly — and “Abimanyu” — fruit punch. My favorite food are Ayam Suwir Kecombrang and Sate. I recommend you to try their snacks as well pisang goreng (banana fried) with vanilla ice cream, tahu walik (fried tofu crispy), rujak serut (mix fruit with rujak sauce), and pempek.
The best time to come in here is at 11 a.m. they accept card payment but its better to bring cash. They don’t have wifi and the mobile phone signals also pretty weak. Only XL who can run well there.
So far, I really love this place. So tranquil and peaceful. Lovely

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here with unfriendly weather. Rainy day. The ambiance of the place so good. The main building shape like Joglo Sinom House. Some art hang on the wall.
I ate tahu walik and tempe mendoan. Taste so good. The tempe mendoan cook with good. I love the ketchup sauce.
I drink es cendol kacang merah. Taste so good, not too sweet.
I just surprised cuz got charge for a glass of warm water for five thausand rupiah. I thought its free. But its okay, i still can affort it.
For the price, its still friendly for tourist from big city. Will be better if you check the price from the IG official account.
Over all its a good place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a hidden gem Restaurant. I love it, but not too much. The food was great, i didnt expect to eat a quite huge portion ended up feeling too full right after.
I dont really like the beverages, compared to the meals portion, its not delightfull just for the portion, im fine with the taste.
Another important point highlighted here is that they have to take a good care on pest control. Just arround an hour there, i found ants, spider, and other insects. One crucial photo already uploaded so you could see what i mean.
Its an open area, garden themed restaurant, so have a good care on pest control.
Then pay attention to where they are hanging their dirty clothes, and employee smoking area very very visible for guests. They have space given for employee break time, or proper place to hang dirty clothes.
Its not pleasant experience to have a lunch with a dirty clothes view you know.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A javanese restaurant with a distance from the city in an old house building. Firstly I assumed that they would be serving authentic javanese food, but for me it's more to fussion menu. Secondly, is what amused us is the name of the menu, they don't give a clue of what kind the drink we order, we have to ask further the waiter for more detailed item. Not practical.
Some of our orders were below expectation for instant the kombuchas and the ongol-ongol. The kombuchas were not fermented enough and the ongol-ongol was only the name but the taste was very different from the common ongol-ongol, it's more like gethuk.
So if you wish to have a rustic spot for instagram, this place could help. But to fully enjoy dining, may be you have to revise your expectation a little bit.

You can sit indoor or outdoor, you can even sit on a mat that is spread out on the grass. the food is delicious, it's a bit pricy for me. the drinks are unique and delicious. Very suitable for family gatherings, couples, even friends.
