★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jie Mie sells good Medanese food though in my opinion the taste is toned down a bit to suit locals taste, which means less spicy. They are not halal. Price is reasonable. You can find pork based food here and also traditional kuehs. The place is more like eateries. No aircon. Suitable for quick lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the lontong Medan. The taste has been adjusted to local standard. For me, it is still too sweet compared to original Lontong Medan. The rendang is so so. The price?? With rendang, it costs around IDR40k.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice medanese food at north jakarta. I'm really sure not because I'm from medan so I say medanese food is nice. Maybe people all from indonesia can say medan food is 1 of the the best city for food. This meal can for breakfast and lunch. I just eat lontong sayur. If u like noodle u can eat kwetiau. And u can eat some snacks also. But if u come here drive byurself,its hard to park car at here,especially for lunch,very crowded. All the staff at here very fast respond. Must try for people whos like many vegetables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have opened more than 15 years, here at this Jia Mei restaurant could find many traditional cuisines from Medan area, such as lontong sayur, fries noodle, also available pork rendang, and many cakes populary sold at Medan.
Its price quite affordable, beef rendang Rp 20.000 each piece.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good Medanese fastfood restaurant, most of their menu is delicious, do try their kwetiau goreng, kari bihun, emie, hokien mie, and lontong sayur. Fast service, good yummie food. Parking nearby might be a problem during peak time.
