★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The emergency suspension bridge over Boyong River in Bojong, Hargobinangun, Pakem District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region is a nice spot to get a beautiful distant view of Mt. Merapi and Turgo Hill. Not so far from the World Landmarks Merapi Park and Kaliurang mountainside resort. It used to be a Sabo dam before being destroyed by a lahar (cold lava) flood from Mt. Merapi after its 1994 eruption, and later replaced by a narrow emergency bridge until now.
