★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was joining the lava tour on October 2018 with my Ethiopian friend. The contact person was very responsive though we booked the lava tour in the last minutes. The tour cost was reasonable I think. It was 350k IDR per jeep for 3 hours driving. It could accommodate up to 3 people, excluding the driver.
The jeep driver acted as a tour guide and a good photographer which was quite impressive. He explained the history of the eruption in 2006 and 2010 very well. He was very informative. He also could direct us to the best spots to capture our moments.
However, there is still room for improvement. They should have given masks to the passengers to avoid dust.
