★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The campus houses most of the university's schools, including schools of law, social sciences, economics, and the computer sciences. The lecturers there seemed like they do not have much care about the university; many of them went on long absence runs, little contribution on scientific publication, and preferring other universities to root for in case of any publicity. The university also sees decreasing number of new students year on year, especially at the smaller schools.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the lens of an ex-Jayabaya-student, here's my overall personal impression:
The academic environment is average level considering the tuition fee is relatively high. And since it is a private university, it barely lives up to the expectation of other private universities in the area (Eastern & Northern Jakarta) in terms of education interest, academic publications, student activities, and facilities.
The campus building has very little mental stimulation due to the boring architecture. The classrooms look barely kept and the building is overall underwhelming. The main library has poor –both quantity and quality of– contemporary academic books, published titles mostly dated back to half+ century ago.
Staffs were nice & friendly but that is barely enough to cover how mess the campus management is. The funny thing is that I've never encountered in which the main (entry) gate is closed, it's 24/7 open, and even though there are security staffs but ironically anyone at any time can enter easily without even getting checked/questioned, this kept me cautious about how insecure the security system of the building is.
What kept me enrolled till the end is because of the dean and some faculty members that were very supportive. Moreover, the diverse student organizations that I was involved in taught me numerous skillset, especially diplomatic and political skills (more precisely, Machiavellian politics).
Last but equally as important – thank you Jayabaya for the 3+ memorable years, it wasn't the best time-investment but quite worth the ride. I hope the management/rectorate would radically be improved in order to compete with its competitors.
