★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had lunch here a few times while visiting family and friends. The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. I sat on the bamboo floor and enjoyed the view with the extra delicious “ingkung”. Must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional restaurant in Bantul, Jogjakarta. The place big, could hold numerous cars and motorbikes, they only have one toilet in the main building and with several small bamboo hut. At the left side of the parking lot, located the main hall, also made of bamboo, the big one.
The dishes quite good, we ordered oroginal, grilled and fried chicken. Ingkung means whole chicken, one chicken being grilled or else.
The resto located in remote area, we went there via Kasongan. The street not so crowded, and you got to drive kampoeng to reach this resto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit hidden from the main road but the place was huge. It’s a perfect choice for family since it’s mostly outdoor and lots of seats.
The food was super nice, we ordered half Ayam Ingkung Original and half Ayam Ingkung Goreng. Make sure to order the Sambal Bawang as well!
