★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is nice, traditional javanese feel. I tried the house speciality which is "Ayam Lodho" or "Lodho Chicken". It's nice, tasty, like a cross between "Opor Ayam" and "Garang Asem". It's a restaurant, so the price is a tad expensive for Indonesian standard. $4 for rice with chicken and "urap" (a type of Indonesian salad).
And I actually mind their meager serving of gravy. Come on! A saucer-size serving of gravy? You can do better than that!
And I also mind that we have to pay for "sambal". This is Indonesia, everything is eaten with sambal, it should be part of the meal. So that's why not worth 5 ? yet.
O the mulberry drink is nice.

If you stay in Yogya, this place is a great choice. You don't have to go as far as Bantul to have delicious "ayam ingkung". They also serve traditional beverages. The price is fair.
The place has enough parking lot. They have nice traditional ambience of traditional culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant almost unseen directly from street because the sign bit going inside of perking area.
That night was my first time in there, i thought will be long line to order food like others restaurant, it is few days ago every restaurant if near the time of break fasting always full ordered and get the line to order.
But kind of different in ingkung grobog restaurant, me with my family came here, take order, and Taaaraaaaa... doesn't have to be long time for waiting..
This restaurant recommend for you have big family or gathering with friends, food and beverage so nice.. the chili not to spicy and you can split from the main food for tasting the chili's.
All employees was so friendly, good communication every employee's and keep for the good works guys.. ?
