★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't plan to have lunch at Ikan Bakar Banyuwangi, however it turns out to be a great experience... The food tasted great... The restaurant is semi out doot and there's a lesehan area at the back with a fish pond at the center... Ordered Ikan bakar Baronang & Kue... The size of the fish is quite small but enough for 2-3 persons... The sambal are delicious and spicy!

If you not into fish, there's plenty other menu here, inculding rawon and a simple ayam penyet.
The ambience is great, there's live music at night. The sound of the water pond is calming, and if you like to cross-legged eating, there's lesehan inside.
Note: The whole area is smoking area, so mind your own children if you want to eat here.

Price is slightly expensive for a restaurant, it's not too bad.
Seating and room is uncomfortable, no aircon, people are free to smoke inside the restaurant.
In summary, bad price to value. Not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable price (not expensive). I haven't tried the fish since I am not fond of it. Instead, I tried their Rawon, Sop Iga, and Sop Buntut. I tried Cah Kangkung too. Taste is good, the meat is juicy and not hard to chew. But the portion of the meat is not much (rather small). The portion of cah kangkung is more generous, and the spiciness just fits (hot, but not too hot). There is live music too here.
