★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent chain bakery known to Indonesians for years. Very affordable prices, excellent quality baked goods. Many "old fashioned" breads and their lemper ayams are to die for. Very good service, friendly staff. The outlet in Ciputat Raya is my favourite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not very difficult to see why good ol' Holland Bakery stays strong through the years, even when fancy-schmancy bakeries pop up everywhere. Practically everything is well-made, no unnecessary frills. The chiffon cake, especially the chocolate chip ones, is my personal favorite... and I have successfully tempted my friends into its soft chocolatey embrace.
