- Not sure why, the time they took to prepare the foods are quite long. Happens to the other customer visiting at the same time as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The newest of the HokBen franchises around BSD/Gading Serpong and probably the worst. Food preparation takes forever (just waited 20 minutes for my food), most the the menu has run out by early evening and the staff are unfriendly. Worst is their seating policy for CoVid where we were told we could sit together as a family; me, my wife and my five year old daughter. Go to one of the others. Much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the branch of HokBen in a newly-opened place near the end of 2020, Ararasa BSD City. Just like HokBen in usual, the foods are displayed in the counter, we could order what we want first, then paying at the cashier. As the part of the health protocol, the foods are placed inside the counter, and there are transparent plastics as the border between customers and the employees.
I tried for takeaway order their new and limited offer menu, Mentai Matsuri (IDR 40,910). Since it was takeaway order, the Mentai Matsuri was served inside an aluminium foil box, similar with in-flight meal ?
This menu consists of warm white rice with fried ebi agedama (shrimp) topped with the sweet and a a little bit spicy mentai sauce, nori (seaweed), and katsuoboshi (bonito flakes). It tastes good. The ebi agedama suits with the mentai sauce.

The food tastes are nice. I admit it. Rather than other branch in tangerang this is delicious
