 This date and gule stall is on the west side of Jalan Raya Gulon number 90 Salam Magelang, the menu served with satay and curry tastes quite good, the place is quite spacious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rasa enak tapi tidak istimewa, jumlah irisan banyak. Namun warung ini sudah tidak jaya seperti jaman dulu. Nuansa warung sepi dan seperti rumah pribadi, bapak2 yang masak si empunya seorang diri, sekaligus yang menyajikan. Porsi cukup banyak dan harga sedikit di atas rata2.
Good taste but not special, many slices. However, this shop is not as glorious as it used to be. The stalls feel quiet and like a private home, the fathers who cook the owner alone, as well as those who serve. Portions are quite a lot and prices are slightly above average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gule Gulon sudah ada sejak saya masih SD, sering diajak nenek ke tempat doa Sendangsono. Dulu rasanya sudah merasa mewah sekali bisa jajan nasi Gule Gulon.
Setelah hampir 40 tahun tidak pernah kesini, saya mampir. Luar biasa, rasa gule-nya jadul banget. Beda dibanding gule masa-kini. Entah menggunakan rempah apa.
Kalau satenya biasa saja. Rasanya juga biasa. Porsinya lumayan banyak.
Harganya, dibandingkan resto kambing yang lain, termasuk murah.
Saya mau datang lagi dan mencoba tongsengnya.
Kalau anda yang sedang di Muntilan dan kepingin kulineran jadul, maka Gule Gulon salah satu yang saya rekomendasikan.
Gule Gulon has been around since I was in elementary school, and was often invited by my grandmother to the Sendangsono prayer place. In the past, I felt that I felt very luxurious about being able to eat Gule Gulon rice.
After almost 40 years never here, I stopped by. Amazing, the taste of the Gule is really old school. It's different compared to the contemporary rule. I don't know what spice.
If the satay ordinary. It also feels ordinary. Pretty much portion.
The price, compared to other goat restaurants, including cheap.
I want to come again and try the tongseng.
If you are in Muntilan and want the old school culinary, then Gule Gulon is one that I recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I WILL NEVER COME BACK. I had passed many times in front of this lifeless lamb gulai restaurant at Jl. Magelang-Yogyakarta, Lojirejo, Gulon, Salam District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province before I and my wife decided to try it just out of curiosity. The dining room looked okay. The owner, an old man dressed in white, served us. The lamb gulai was not so bad actually but it didn't taste like lamb. Later I went to the toilet and passed by the kitchen, and wait what,,,did I see rats? Yes, I saw rats wandering around in the kitchen, even walked on a cutting board, close to a large pan full of gulai soup. Sick and terrified, I paid immediately and left.
