β β β β β Unless you're forced to (due time etc), steer clear of this chain (yes it is a chain) and this branch in particular. -5 is more appropriate if possible. Very bad service.
My impression is that they feel popularity exempt them from obligatory decent customer service.
Taste wise, their gudeg is too sweet - on a gudeg scale take this more as a caution than impression.

β β β β β If you're a tourist, you've probably heard of this famous gudeg..BUT please do not eat at this branch. It is not as good as the one that's located in Jalan Wijilan. This is also more expensive because you know...tourist trap.

β β β β β Only around 15 k - 25 k can taste the tradtional kulinary of Yogyakarta with different variant. One of famous food name is Gudeg (jackfruit vegetables)
Gudeg Yu Djum has seven outlets spread in Yogyakarta. Yu Djum outlets on Jalan Wijilan and Jalan Kaliurang are the most crowded visitors. One of the advantages of Gudeg Yu Djum is that everything is made using traditional cooking tools, namely firewood. Although the sweetness is quite 'kicking', the dry warmth is quite targeted by tourists from outside Java.
