★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grandis Barn has a conceptually beautiful design and a quite large parking space. They have done a splendid job on the modern-style architecture as of nowadays. The art creates luring spots for the customers to stop by and take photos while they can.
I take that the cooks have zero talent on cooking. Not only do they grill frozen salmon, but also reheat the half-roasted chicken, which is supposedly ready by 20 minutes, however the cooking process was done in 5 minutes.
On behalf of the living salmons, I pity their lives to be ended on such terrible cuisine. Among thousands of sauce selections, they have decided to choose Shallot Sauce for the grilled salmon, which is a forlorn heart maker, too sad to be true.
The worst customer service I've ever met in Solo city. How on earth were the Human Resource Department guys thinking to recruit these people anyway?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came when the resto has just opened. Not too hot, still quite, perfect for photos. There is field & slide for childrens to play. There is also deer. Good for childrens. Ambience is nice & cozy. Food was excellent, I recommend Potato Chips & Loco Moco Hawaiian. Very friendly service. No complaints at all during my visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for having breakfast, lunch or dinner. This restaurant situated on the main road and got a big parking space infront.
Lots of greenery makes it more cool and serene.
Modern design with high ceiling just like a barn, with two sitting areas. Indoor and outdoor.
Food and drink taste ok with lots of option, or should I say they got a huge menu list.
Young people likes to take a pictures outside. The tall tree's is the main object.
Great place, great pictures, good food.

Rule number one in delivering the food to the table. Always have the cutleries ready on the table before the food arrives.
We order lots of food, and the one I ordered was Chili Garlic Angel Vegan. The pasta came with a sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano. I Wonder if they understand what does vegan mean.
The pasta was way too dry and tasteless. So dry that the pasta noodle was stuck to each other. Must have spent too long before being mixed with whatever sauce they have for it.
But my main problem with the pasta was it was extremely hot. I know the name of the dish said "Chili", but come on! It was too damn hot for a pasta. Chili was the only thing my tongue could taste. For me it was unbearable. Two spoons and that's it for me.
The same goes with the other menu. My family didn't really like it, except the Rawon Surabaja. My brother said it was nice.
Those two stars was for the Pasta that I ordered. And I was being generous with those two stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here, superb design cozy ambience, indoor and outdoor area, lots of parking space, variety of menu. A must place to explore for second time. Behind also have another authentic resto, cant wait to eat there. A bit far from city center but worth it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grandis Barn is indeed a very nice place. Must visited restaurant/cafe in Solo. I think this restaurant is one of the best places to enjoy steak in Solo. The building is so minimalist and modern. I bet the visitors will take a lot of pictures here. The restaurant has a nice lighting, design, and decoration. The foods and beverages are very delicious! Will come back again for sure. Oh yaaa..and there are some deers too! 8K for a bag of carrots.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in the outskirt of the city. Minimalist, modern architecture but you can still feel the warmth through the wooden tables and green surrounding. The place seems to be popular since it was crowded on a weekday afternoon.
They serve both western and Javanese menu and a large assortment of drinks to choose from. Since we just ate, we only ordered Kedondong Juice and Mellon Mix Juice which tasted good bur not extraordinary. I think with this place they can be a bit more adventurous with the menu. Next time we will try the food.
