★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Jan 2020) This new restaurant inside the WTC complex has just commenced business less than six months. The seatings are almost always full during lunch hours. Many health-minded people flock here for lunch.
I am not particularly a huge fan of healthy food but have been here a few times. The food is “average” at best and it is rather pricey. Could be very well one of the more expensive restaurants in the complex, but continue to attract fans due healthy-mindset, life style …
Given the price, not particularly recommended.

Exactly a month since soft opening , today I am eating here 3 of us from Altura Wtc5
So many varieties of foods to choose in each category except for meats or fish for sure, such as for grains or carbo; salads vegetables ; topping sauces
Just wondering why the appearance was not too fresh as it supposed to
For the taste it self , I am feeling as if I am eating the vegetarian foods, so it’s always good to taste something new,
The prices? It’s depends on what purposes you eating there.
But if for daily /luncheon meals? Ngaaaa ...ah !!!

This unique restaurant just opened today August 01, 2019, takes place next to Starbuck at WTC 5, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.
I had no chance to try the menu since it seems just only invited and registered guest only who eat there today, ....poor supposed he let me try the gourmet cause I am best food evaluator... hehehe... just take a look at my review history.u

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Healthy yet tasty, “Grain Traders” is on mission: “feeding Jakarta well”! This restaurant brings concept, “gather your food”, means in 1 plate/serve you can select 1 base (grains), 1 protein, 2 option of vegs, 1 sauce, 1 side dish (pickles) and 1 beans/nuts (peanuts, etc).
For a plate, it is around IDR 80-120K (before tax). Additional item, e.g. want to add more protein/base/veg/sambal (matah/ijo), it is cost around IDR 5K-30K. The beverage costs around IDR 20K-40K.
It is pricey but I need to admit, it is not easy to cook healthy food. We use to indulge ourselves with fat, sugary and salty food. Our taste buds is are not familiar with light seasoning. Not to mention, the texture is so munchy. You need to chew bit hard. So, in this case, Grain Traders has done a great job!!
They tick all the boxes: it is healthy, tasty and colorful!! They cook the veg very well. Indeed, when you’re not overcook it, veggies, grains, beans have very beautiful color. It is so appealing and I appreciate my food more.
The ambience: LOVE IT!! Warm tone, earthy feeling (using stone, wood; mostly brown color) you will relate immediately with their concept. It is spacious too, with indoor and outdoor selection.
I love how they include a coffee corner in their restaurant. Giving more options for beverages. I tried the ice latte and choco chips cookies (bundled price : IDR 60 K) and I love it. Both are winners.
A note from me, actually selecting your own meal is not a new concept for us. We do that everytime in “warteg” (warung tegal). However, to be honest, I was a bit anxious with the final taste. I was noy familiar with the menu. Will it worked together as a dish? Lucky me, it did well. Though the taste is totally new for me. Need little bit adjustment but overall it was nice.
However, if you’re unsure, Grain Traders has prepared with their menu combinations. If you still want to ensamble your own menu, do not hesitate to ask recommendation: what works best! Or... go with your guts and consider it as a new adventure for your taste buds ?
