Maybe there is a related service, or a cultural office, that can manage and maintain this, surely until now this building is really cool, it can be a historical story for our present and future children and grandchildren.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stasiun Grabag Merbabu kini berubah fungsi menjadi MI dan SMP Maarif Grabag. Stasiun ini terdiri dari dua lajur yg masih bisa ditemui di halaman sekolah. Jalur ini kemudian bertemu di seberang jalan Grabag. Pada bagian halaman, terdapat tambalan semen yang menandakan dulunya terdapat kanopi untuk menaungi lokomotif. Peron dan emplasemen masih asli berupa keramik elzet. Adapun gudang stasiun grabag hanya tersisa pondasinya saja.
Jika dirunut jalur stasiun ini, maka akan ditemukan tiang sinyal keluar dibelakang rumah warga. Adapun jalur kereta dari stasiun grabag masih mudah ditelusuri. Sekitar 700 m dr stasiun grabag, terdapat jembatan kereta api yg membentang diatas sungai. Stasiun Grabag Merbabu merupakan stasiun lanjutan jalur Semarang - Jogja dari Stasiun Gemawang menuju Stasiun Candi Umbul.
Merbabu Grabag Station is now changing its function to MI and Maarif Grabag Middle School. This station consists of two lanes which can still be found in the school yard. This path then meets across the Grabag street. On the page, there are cement patches which indicate that there used to be a canopy to shade the locomotive. The platform and emplacement are still original in the form of elzet ceramics. The grabag station warehouse only has its foundation left.
If traced to this station line, then the signal pole will be found behind the people's homes. The train line from the grabag station is still easy to trace. Around 700 m from the grabag station, there is a railroad bridge that stretches over the river. Grabag Merbabu Station is an advanced station on the Semarang - Jogja line from Gemawang Station to Umbul Temple Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do the hike from station "Stasiun Grabag Merbabu" to the acient bath "Candi Umbul".
If you stay in Mesa Stila Resort you can go by car to the old railway station. The station is now used as a school and only for train enthusiast worth to visit.
But from there you can start a hike along the old railway track to Candi Umbul. It's mostly easy to follow the rails. If you need assistance the village people will help you with a smile. Or hire a tour guide from the resort. You passing by rice paddies, small villages, Banana plantations, crossing creeks and small rivers over old bridges. Very picturesque sceneries with a lot opportunities to take pictures. After 3,5 Km you'll reach Candi Umbul. At the moment the bath it's closed due to the pandemic. But the walk it self it's worth to be done.
I recommend to start early (06.30 a.m.) Breakfast at Mesa Stila it's served from 06.00 a.m.
Use the same way back.
