The road to this place is a bit narrow, but still accessible by a car.
If you plan to go into the cave, don't wear shoes because you will have to pass bodies of water (unless you don't mind getting your shoes wet).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goa Seplawan is a tourist spot in the hills. In this cave was first found Shiva Shiwa and Parwati, which is now its existence in the National Museum of Jakarta. Besides the cool place, the scenery is also beautiful. From Gardu Pandang we can see the Sermo Reservoir and the view of Kulonprogo Regency, because this place is directly adjacent to Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extensive cave network. Exceeded expectations of how large it was. Beautiful surroundings around the cave, peaceful spot for a bite to eat.
Would suggest taking a good torch or getting a local guide if you really want to explore the depths of the cave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this a complete package, cave, cliff, vast view, trees. If you like serenity with fog and a bit of jogging, this is your place...even the journey to this place is another adventure with pine trees, zigzag road, breeze air. You can get both cave or go to the hill side to see the drop-down scenery...if not welcomed by a thick fog ..or cloud as this place is high above. as well, you can go down to the cave to enjoy the rocks and moss. to be honest, I just went only until the entance-ish part of the cave as it is starting to rain at that moment and I did not want to be inside the cave while raining. . So...trave here is worth it for me...not always the destination...but the journey from Jogja City as you can see nature for your eyes...but remember....the journey will take time...so plan your journey properly. Better go in the morning and enjoy other places to visit around here.
