★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perjalanan ke tempat ini sangat menyenangkan. dimulai dari naik Elf dari bumiayu sampai pangkalan ojek Kopeng. Setelah itu dilanjutkan dnegan naik ojek terus mendaki menembus hutan pinus milik Perhutani, sampai ke DUSUN terakhir (tertinggi) sebelum menuju puncak Merbabu.
Tempat ini sangat eksotik. Suhu yang sangat dingin, dan pemandangan nya akan menghipnotis anda, sehingga setiap stress dan masalah hilang dengan sendirinya. Dusun ini bener2 membantu saya menemukan RIBUAN cara untuk mengucap syukur, sebab TUHAN itu BAIK.
Special Thanks for pak Kuwat Ishak dan Ibu, beserta Mas Joko yang menyambut kami luar biasa hangat. Kehangatan masyarakat Dusun Cuntel enar-benar unforgetable.
Semoga Tuhan kasih saya kesempatan untuk kembali kesana.

Travel to this place is very pleasant. starting from riding Elf from Bumiayu to the motorcycle base of Kopeng. After that, the motorcycle taxi continued to climb through Perhutani's pine forest, to the last (highest) DUSUN before heading to the top of Merbabu.
This place is very exotic. Very cold temperatures, and its scenery will hypnotize you, so any stress and the problem goes away by itself. This hamlet bener2 help me find THOUSANDS of ways to give thanks, for the Lord is GOOD.
Special Thanks for Kuwat pack Isaac and mother, along with Mas Joko remarkable that welcomed us warmly. The warmth of the Cuntel Hamlet community is truly unforgetable.
May God give me the opportunity to go back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dikelilingi pemandangan yg indah. Cobalah untuk berkunjung dengan menginap di rumah2 penduduk. Dinginnya luar biasa. Pastikan mobil anda dalam keadaan sehat karena medan menuju desa Cunthel lumayan terjal.
Surrounded by beautiful scenery. Try to visit by staying in people's homes. The cold is incredible. Make sure your car is in good condition because the terrain towards the village of Cunthel is quite steep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salah satu bentuk pelayanan yang dikembangkan oleh GKJTU Imanuel Cuntel adalah Live In. Dalam Live In ini, berbagai Lembaga/Sekolah datang membawa peserta/murid-murid untuk hidup bersama di dalam keluarga-keluarga yang ada di Dusun Cuntel. Ketika hidup bersama inilah mereka belajar kehidupan warga yang ada di Dusun, yang notabene adalah petani sayuran dan peternak di lereng Gunung Merbabu sebelah utara agak ke barat (Barat Daya). Mereka bisa merasakan bagaimana kehidupan warga dengan mengambil rumput, mengambil kayu, memberi makan ternak, kegiatan-kegiatan terkait dengan pertanian (mencangkul, menanam, memupuk atau memanen -sesuai dengan musim yang ada), bhakti sosial dan hiking di lereng Gunung Merbabu. Sampai sekarang sudah ada 22 keluarga yang siap untuk melayani program Live In ini, baik dari keluarga-keluarga anggota GKJTU maupun dari Gereja lain bahkan dari keluarga Muslim. Jika peserta Live In lebih dari 100 orang, GKJTU Imanuel Cuntel juga sudah bekerjasama dengan Dusun Tayeman, GKJTU Manunggal-Ngaduman, GKJTU Bukit Hermon-Dukuh, GKJ Kenalan, dll untuk melaksanakan program Live In tersebut.
Berikut adalah Lembaga/Sekolah yang pernah melakukan Live In di GKJTU Imanuel Cuntel, antar lain: SMAK 5 BPK Penabur Jakarta, Ipeka International Christian School Jakarta, STT Jakarta, Ukrida Jakarta, FBS dan FTI UKSW Salatiga, SMPK dan SMAK Lab. UKSW Salatiga, SMPK 2 Ebenhaezer Salatiga, SMA Bina Bangsa Semarang, SMA Charis Malang, SMAK 1 Bina Bhakti Bandung, SMAK 2 BPK Penabur Bandung, PPA (Program Pengembangan Anak) dari Kartasura, PPA dari Ungaran, dll.
One form of service developed by GKJTU Imanuel Cuntel is Live In. In this Live In, various Institutions / Schools come to bring participants / students to live together in families in Cuntel Hamlet. When they lived together, they learned about the lives of residents in the village, which incidentally are vegetable farmers and breeders on the slopes of Mount Merbabu to the north rather west (Southwest). They can feel the life of the residents by taking grass, taking wood, feeding livestock, activities related to agriculture (hoeing, planting, fertilizing or harvesting - according to the season), social services and hiking on the slopes of Mount Merbabu. Until now there have been 22 families ready to serve this Live In program, both from the families of GKJTU members and from other Churches and even from Muslim families. If there are more than 100 Live In participants, GKJTU Imanuel Cuntel has also collaborated with Tayeman Hamlet, Manunggal-Ngaduman GKJTU, Bukit Hermon-Dukuh GKJTU, GKJ Kenalan, etc. to carry out the Live In program.
