★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try to arrive before 08:00.. Access via lift near diamonds supermarket..
Proceed to 3rd floor and upon reacing Gerai SIM, try to look for paper ( normally sticked to the glass door ). Write down name and type of SIM to extend.. Only SIM A and C are available for renewal.. Make sure the expiry date is not more than 2 months...
The opening hour is 12:00 (Mon-Thur and Sat ) and 13:30 (Fri).. The officer will start distributing queue no ( based pn the paper written ) at around 11:40.
The first procedure is health test ( colour blind test and blood pressure ) followed by submission of form...
Next, will be called for phototaking and colletion of SIM..
My experience is pretty fast.. Arrived at 0740 and managed to get no.9 ( queue no ).. I colledt SIM @ 12:40.. ( 40 min after opening )...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If there is an option for zero score for this place, I would rate zero. Service was really bad.
The first unpleasant thing was that the photographer officer came late so after you register your name, you still need to wait for your name to be called for the photo session and the photo session took so long (1 person for approximately 5 mins and they still need to take photo for another 99 people).
The second thing was suddenly one of the officer gave an announcement that you can re-register your driving license a WEEK before your birthday (they said this due to the usage of the new computer apps) and so many people not knowing this because the previous policy said that you can re-register your driving license a MONTH before your birthday (and they just informed this after some customers already applied for the re-registration process).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Need to take queue number early in the morning, the earliest, better. There are two administration staff, both woman ( even they are not policemen). The way they speak and act is beyond belief, no attitude nor manner, spoiling the reputation of government public service. They forget the motto of Indonesian police forces, "To protect & to serve" !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my time to renew driving license, it was 92 people in queue.
I come around 11AM, jot down your name on the queue list paper (usually being adhere on the door glass).
Half an hour or so before 12pm, officer will give u queue number based on that paper list.
Im done on 3pm from waiting till finish.
Your driving license need to be expired max on the same month and not more than 1 month near expiry, otherwise rejected.
Youll need to go to SATPAS Daan Mogot for that case.
If ur expiry is more than 1 month, better come later when its 1 month expiry or come on the same month of your driving expiry as long as it s not expired.
I.e : Driving license expiry date 10th October 19.
U may renew it between 10th September till 10th October. When its passed 10th october, ull need to apply new driving license. ?
Btw, i spent Rp 135,000 (insurance + medical letter + photo ) to renew SIM A where the official cost is Rp 85,000.
And about "SIM Online", mind you its still not 100% updated to the system, so there is a chance your data not available if youre from outside Jakarta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is actually very helpful, you can get or renew your driver licenses, pay your auto taxes, all manage by police departement.
It is nicely located inside the mall Artha Gading, there are still rooms for improvements in effenciency, and effectivity , while the place is convinience enough for now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ at Arta Gading Mall, in corona period for SIM only served 50 - 75 people per day. the distribution of official queue numbers is 10.30 to 12.00, the service starts around 11.30 and takes about 4 hours till SIM finish
Also serves SIM which runs out between March 17 until June 3 only.
But you have to fill out the queue list posted at the door early morning to get the number <50 :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For your information, during this pandemic time, STNK Section is closed on weekend so dont go wasting your time going there like I did. Meanwhile for you who would like to go to SIM Section, it still opens on weekend.
STNK Section opens only on Weekdays from 10.00 am to 1 pm. I therefore attach the written notification of STNK section's opening hours for your ease, so glad to give you such useful information as this kind of information may not be known by us.
One more thing, of course you have to be there in the queue for STNK section earlier before 10.00 am because going there after 10.00 am will only result in wasting your time as there has been already many of queuing people and the official will tell you to go back another day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Open at 12 PM till finish . Quick workers staf , waiting time until finish about 1,5 - 2 hours, depend your entry number. Helpfull staf , copyer machine available. No need online registration. Price 80.000 for SIM A . 75.000 for SIM C. 2000 for copyer. 25.000 Health Test . 10.000 for plastic laminating . You can wait while lunch at food court 2nd floor. Not enough number of chair for waiting
