In the middle of nowhere, the location might turn you off. But the food is booommm!! Try the sayur asem, it's betawi's style with clear soup & nice sour kick (a bit spicy though). I think the jengkol is the champion here (too bad i have to meet people), everybody order it. Hope they open the branch near city center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Retro betawi restaurant with rare and exquisite menu. Dapur betawi cabe 5 have delicious gabus pucung and pecak menu. You should try pecak gurame and pecak jengkol. The price are worth it.
It has outdoor and AC room(non smoking). The interior are so retro and traditional heritage of betawi rich culture. If you want to taste Betawi cullinary heritage you should try this restaurant.
