I just found out recently that there was an ex sugar factory, but since childhood I always passed it, it turned out that the area was called "mbabrik", the term used to be a former factory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sebagian sudah tidak ditemukan jejaknya, karena dirobohkan paksa waktu zaman penjajahan Jepang. Zaman dahulu, ini adalah salah satu dari pabrik gula di Kabupaten Bantul, selain PG Padokan (sekarang Madukismo) dan PG Kedaton Pleret. Dibangun di zaman penjajahan Belanda.
Some of the traces have not been found, because they were forcibly torn down during the Japanese colonial era. In the past, this was one of the sugar factories in Bantul Regency, apart from PG Padokan (now Madukismo) and PG Kedaton Pleret. Built in the Dutch colonial era.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dekat tempat saya, kata nenek saya dulu di tempat itu ada banker tapi udah di tutup sama warga, dan jejak bekas bangunannya masih ada tetapi hanya bongkahan2 batu saja, namun masih bisa membayangkan gimana masa jaya dulunya :)
Near my place, my grandmother said that there was a banker but the residents had already closed it, and the traces of the former building were still there but only boulders, but you can still imagine how the heyday used to be :)
