Too bad they are out of cold (sapporo) beer.
We had beef meatball with demiglass sauce. Its a bit over salty, and tasted like preheated. Nothing like its pic on the menu.
Gyoza (the miniest size i ever seen) is also salty with little filling.
Grilled squid is the best.
Should have guessed by its name, we are not to order any other than seafood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place to get authentic Japanese food in Cikarang, Their lunch menu is a steal, for Rp.100.000 (tax included) you can have one rice menu and one noodle menu and salad and appetizer plus one cup of free coffee with milk if you like it.

Mostly customer are smoking so prepare your self to blend in.
Lots of choices for Lunch bento set .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The interior layout, space and designated decoration present the traditional Japanese restaurant. All cuisine you want to order is really fresh and yummy with pretty economical expense no matter compared with the ones in Jakarta or any other geographies. The meals give you enough portion no matter it is ramen or rices. It is always crowded with expand from Japan, Korea or even Taiwan. You can feel the Japanese culture here. Enjoy it here on weekends or nights after daily work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is truly a hidden gem for those that reside outside of Cikarang and worth trying for.
The interior design and ambience of the restaurant brings me back to my memory in Japan. Not a luxurious or breathtaking one, but definitely succeed in making me felt like dining in a true japanese restaurant ( not to mention many expats that speak in japanese language around us ) .
This restaurant, has a book menu as thick as phone book, lots of them, which makes it harder for me to choose which dish. From sushi, to ramen, from gyudon to hot stone cooked rice, they've got it all.
Service is okay, not an excellent one
We ordered
Karage : portion are very big, has like about 5-6 big chunk of karage, serve with lemon and mayo. One of the best karage I've had so far, chicken juicy and crispy outside, portion huge for that price so its considerably affordable.
Menchi katsu : I've always been a fan of everything that contains ground beef, and this katsu is worth trying for. Portion huge, meat juicy and delicious, batter crispy and best of it, not too oily. Perfect combination with the sauce.
For the chirashi,
I guess it is Okay, the sashimi are fine, at least not one of them are fishy, rice is kinda tasteless. Well, cant be said a lot about chirashi except for the freshness.
Gyudon : is okay, but with that price, I would rather have the typical fast food one, not a lot of difference from it.
Salmon Aburi, got to say, the sushi here resembles the real japanese one like the long fish cover up the rice and the cut as well. For the taste, it is okay, nothing special though.
The unagi , it's very delicious, compare to most unagi I've tried locally, this one is sweet savory and soft, sadly, not all of the cut taste like this one, some of them are dry, like from 6, 2 are dry and hard.
Overall, my experience here in Fish Man are worth trying for. Some of the food are overprice, but some are considerably affordable if you look through it. I would like to come back and try the many other kind of dish they had.
And I would definitely come back during lunch, just like in Japan, this restaurant has lunch offer way cheaper and only available during lunch.
