★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a 220x160 carpet for my house and attracted to the nice pictures of carpets in this seller Instagram. Since I am in Jakarta and want to see and feel of the carpet I went to see the store to see for myself.
I got there and and bought the carpet I wanted for Rp.2,300,000.-. I came home and browse Tokopedia and saw the exact carpet I bought in the morning and the price is Rp.1,749,300.- .
I was shocked to learn that I paid more than Rp.500,000.- than if I bought via Tokopedia. I called the owner and asked about this and he told me that it’s special Tokopedia price. I told him the difference in price is too big (more than 30%).
I asked for some refund to of my money but the seller refused so I told him to keep his money and I will write my independent review about this transaction.
My recommendation to future customers,
Please check their price at Tokopedia first or go to the store and see the carpet but buy via Tokopedia.
My advise to the store owner of Fatih Carpet, you should treat customers who come to the store fairly because customers usually would like to see and feel the carpet than just see a picture in a website that might not be accurate.
