★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was being here to certify my documents due to my mixed marriage. The process was quiet easy as long as you have an appointment already. You shall register by an app that they have ? then you shall make an account, filling the form, pay and upload your payment receipt, then let them verify your payment at least one working day in advance. Then keep checking the app to know about the next notification they might give you.

Even though, during the pandemic, most ext. numbers are inadequate and had to go through WA numbers to get most job done shortly. Besides, there were some cases where they progress very slow with our request (since most services are transformed digitally), and in few cases where they handle displeasing service especially towards foreign diplomats. However, the overall service is fairly acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant experience with the Consular Service regarding my document legalization on November 2020. It was very different from my previous time dealing with them in 2012, so I appreciate the major improvement.
Application is all done online on a mobile app. When your documents are approved, you will get an account number to which you need to transfer payment (Rp25.000/doc). After payment is confirmed, you will get a notification when you can come to the office (for legalization purposes, Wednesday and Friday). You only need to bring your original documents in a folder. They will gather the folders in the morning and return them after lunch. Waiting room was newly renovated so it was very comfortable. I came back around 2 pm and only waited 5 minutes until my number was called and the process was done. All the officers were friendly and helpful.
My only critique is for the security officers in the vehicle entrance gate who refused to let me walk out from their gate because it's a motorized vehicle gate. It only took 10 steps to walk out on a perfectly empty gate.
