★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DPRD Jogja bangunannya asri, bersih, dan amat bernuansa Belanda untuk arsitektur lamanya. Fasilitas wi fi gratis tersedia disini, juga ada masjid yang bisa digunakan oleh umum. Beberapa pedagang asongan yang saya temui bahkan beramai-ramai shalat di masjidnya yang memang terletak di kawasan Malioboro itu.
DPRD Jogja is beautiful, clean, and has a very Dutch nuance for its old architecture. Free wi fi facilities are available here, there is also a mosque that can be used by the public. Some hawkers I met even prayed at the mosque, which is located in the Malioboro area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gedung DPRD DIY terletak di Jalan Malioboro No. 54, Yogyakarta. Bangunan ini dibangun pada tahun 1878 oleh Vrijmetselarij (Perkumpulan orang Belanda) di Yogyakarta. Gedung kemudian difungsikan sebagai pusat teosofi (Himpunan Ilmu Kebatinan), sehingga dikenal dengan nama Gedung Setan. Pada tahun 1948-1950, bangunan yang juga disebut dengan nama Loge Mataram ini digunakan untuk kegiatan BPKNIP (Badan Pekerja Komite Nasional Indonesia Pusat). Peristiwa bersejarah yang pernah terjadi di gedung ini yaitu pencetusan politik luar negeri Indonesia yang bebas aktif oleh Kabinet/Wakil Presiden Drs. Moh. Hatta pada tanggal 2 September 1948 di depan sidang BPKNIP. Pada tahun 1951 oleh pihak Kasultanan, pemakaiannya diserahkan kepada Pemda untuk Gedung DPRD DIY dan saat ini digunakan sebagai ruang paripurna sidang DPRD. Bangunan Gedung DPRD menghadap ke arah barat dan bercat krem. Gedung ini masih mempertahankan arsitektur lama. Bangunan ini ditetapkan sebagai cagar budaya dengan Per.Men Budpar RI No. PM.89/PW.007/MKP/2011. Bangunan ini ditetapkan sebagai cagar budaya dengan Per.Men Budpar RI No. PM.89/PW.007/MKP/2011.
The DIY DPRD Building is located at Jalan Malioboro No. 54, Yogyakarta. This building was built in 1878 by the Vrijmetselarij (Society of the Dutch) in Yogyakarta. The building then functioned as a theosophy center (Himpunan Ilmu Kebatinan), so it was known as the Devil's Building. In 1948-1950, the building which is also known as Loge Mataram was used for the activities of BPKNIP (Working Body of the Central Indonesian National Committee). The historic event that ever happened in this building was the inception of Indonesia's foreign policy which was free and active by the Cabinet/Vice President, Drs. Moh. Hatta on September 2, 1948 in front of the BPKNIP session. In 1951 by the Sultanate, its use was handed over to the Regional Government for the DIY DPRD Building and is currently being used as a plenary room for the DPRD session. The DPRD building faces west and is painted in beige. This building still maintains the old architecture. This building is designated as a cultural heritage with the Minister of Culture and Tourism Regulation No. PM.89/PW.007/MKP/2011.
