★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Departemen Mikrobiologi UGM berlokasi tepat di depan (timur) RS Sardjito Yogyakarta atau di sebelah utaranya fakultas Kedokteran Gigi UGM. Departemen Mikrobiologi UGM ini memiliki laboratorium yang sangat khusus sehingga menjadi rujukan bagi rumah sakit umum maupun swasta untuk kasus pembiakan/kultur kuman/bakteri/virus/jamur/dll. Sayangnya ruang bagian administrasi dan tempat penampungan (maaf) dahak sangat tidak representatif. Rasanya bertolak belakang dengan kompetensi, ketelitian, dan kebersihan suatu laboratorium. Untungnya, pelayanannya (hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium) dapat diselesaikan sebelum waktu yang dijanjikan.
Hasil dari laboratorium ini biasanya--bersama dengan data lainnya--dipakai untuk menegakkan diagnosis dan pengobatan pasien.
Catatan khusus: hanya menerima pembayaran secara tunai, tidak bisa debit maupun kredit
 UGM Microbiology Department is located right in front of (east) Sardjito Hospital in Yogyakarta or on the north side of UGM Faculty of Dentistry. UGM Microbiology Department has a very special laboratory so that it becomes a reference for public and private hospitals for the case of germ / bacterial / fungal / etc breeding / culture. Unfortunately, the administrative and shelter room (sorry) phlegm is very unrepresentative. It feels contrary to the competence, accuracy, and cleanliness of a laboratory. Fortunately, the service (laboratory examination results) can be completed before the promised time.
The results of this laboratory usually - along with other data - are used to diagnose and treat patients.
