★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Curug yang masih alami dengan rimbunnya pepohonan dan jalan setapak yg masih tanah. lingkungannya sejuk dan sgt asri.
Perlu hati-hati ketika hujan jalan yang becek dan juga kontur jalan naik-turun serta berliku menjadi tantangan tersendiri
Curug Luhur terletak di kampung Lembur Pasir, Desa Ciambar, Kecamatan Ciambar, Kabupaten Sukabumi.
Curug Luhur ini memiliki ketinggian sekitar 25 sampai 30 meter, dan kolam penampungan tersebut memiliki dasar pasir sehingga cukup aman untuk berenang disini.
Untuk masuk ke curug luhur bisa menggunakan akses melalui Desa Ginanjar, Kecamatan Ciambar, dan Jarak dari kantor Kecamatan Ciambar sampai Curug Luhur sekitar 8 Km. Jika kamu membawa kendaraan aksesnya hanya bisa sampai Kampung Lembur Pasir dan selanjutnya melanjutkan dengan jalan kaki.
Pengunjung cukup Ramai di hari Sabtu dan Minggu. Bahkan ada yg ngecamp.
Ada warung jajanan biasanya hanya di weekend
Masih banyak monyet2 juga.

Curug Luhur is located in Lembur Pasir village, Ciambar Village, Ciambar District, Sukabumi Regency.
This Luhur waterfall has a height of about 25 to 30 meters, and the reservoir has a sand base so it is quite safe to swim here.
To enter the Luhur waterfall, you can use access via Ginanjar Village, Ciambar District, and The distance from the Ciambar District office to the Luhur Waterfall is about 8 Km. If you bring a vehicle, the access can only get to Kampung Lembur Pasir and then continue on foot
Visitors are quite busy on Saturdays and Sundays. There are even campers.
There are snack stalls usually only on weekends
There are still many monkeys too.
Enjoy. Curug Cimabar is one of the best waterfalls to visit. In Sukabumi.

- pahamin petunjuk arah dari warga sana biar ngga salah jalan, dari yg foto bertiga itu lurus aja trus nnti diujung ktmu warung belok kanan

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Curug ini cukup berkesan: indah, elegan dan masih agak liar. Kita juga bisa cliff diving dari ketinggian sekitar 6-7 m dengan memanjat tebing batu di sisi kanan/selatan curug. Berenang di curug ini juga cukup menyenangkan karena kolamnya yang lumayan luas dan dalam. Satu-satunya "kekurangan" yang membuat saya cuma memberi 4 bintang adalah air di kolamnya yang tidak begitu bening, karena dasarnya berupa tanah dan pasir. Tapi beberapa kali berenang di sini tidak pernah membuat mata saya pedih, jadi sebenarnya airnya bersih-bersih saja.
Saya sudah mencoba hiking melalui 2 rute alternatif ke curug ini, yaitu lewat Lemah Putih di sisi utara dan lewat Kantor Resor TNGGP Pasir Hantap di sisi selatan curug.
Jika lewat utara, jalan mobil setelah belok di terminal angkot akan memotong lembah, sehingga tanjakan dan turunannya cukup curam dengan tikungan tajam. Tapi keuntungannya, trail hiking di rute ini cukup landai. Tantangannya hanya ketika menuruni lembah di sekitar 500 m terakhir. Jarak total trail ini sekitar 3 km satu jalan. Oh ya, sekitar 2 km setelah memulai hiking di sini kita masih bisa menemukan warung.
Lewat selatan, jalan mobil cukup halus dan landai, karena kita tidak perlu memotong lembah. Kita bisa parkir di depan Kantor Resor TNGGP Pasir Hantap. Tantangan rute ini adalah trail hikingnya. Jarak total trail ini sedikit lebih pendek, yaitu 2,7 km. Tetapi setelah sekitar setengah jalan, kita harus menuruni lembah ke arah kiri/utara, lalu akan melewati hamparan sawah di suatu lembah (benar lho, di sini ada sawah di tengah-tengah hutan!), sebelum harus memotong satu bukit sebelum curug. Walaupun trail bukit ini jaraknya hanya sekitar 700 m, tapi cukup curam dan licin, jadi perlu ekstra hati-hati di sini. Di sepanjang perjalanan rute ini saya tidak menemukan warung, jadi sebaiknya sudah menyiapkan perbekalan sebelum memulai hiking
This waterfall is quite impressive: beautiful, elegant and still a bit wild. We can also cliff diving from a height of about 6-7 m by climbing the rock cliffs on the right/south side of the waterfall. Swimming in this waterfall is also quite fun because the pool is quite wide and deep. The only "disadvantage" that made me only give 4 stars is the water in the pool which is not very clear, because the bottom is soil and sand. But swimming here a few times never hurts my eyes, so actually the water is clean.
I've tried hiking through 2 alternative routes to this waterfall, namely through Lemah Putih on the north side and through the Pasir Hantap TNGGP Resort Office on the south side of the waterfall.
If passing north, the car road after turning at the angkot terminal will cut through the valley, so the climb and descent are quite steep with sharp turns. But the advantage, the hiking trail on this route is quite gentle. The challenge is only when going down the valley in the last 500m or so. The total distance of this trail is about 3 km one way. Oh yes, about 2 km after starting hiking here we can still find a warung.
Going south, the driveway is quite smooth and gentle, because we don't have to cut through the valley. We can park in front of the Pasir Hantap TNGGP Resort Office. The challenge of this route is the hiking trail. The total distance of this trail is slightly shorter, which is 2.7 km. But after about half way, we have to go down the valley to the left/north, then we will pass through a stretch of rice fields in a valley (you know, there are rice fields here in the middle of the forest!), before having to cut a hill before the waterfall. Although this hill trail is only about 700 m, it is quite steep and slippery, so you need to be extra careful here. Along this route, I didn't find any food stalls, so it's best to have your supplies ready before starting your hike
