★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really bad way if going with motocycle cz the street was fully stone. but that's paying more if coming and see how beautiful this place. you can walk around forest, camping ground also seeing waterfall. if your going with family, this arena is comfy zone for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Curug Layung - Located in Bandung Barat, entrance path is next to Dusun Bambu, it’s unpaved, with dirt and stones and gravels - huge contrast to the road you just took to reach Dusun Bambu ?
Its a short drive, about 10mins, you can park and get entrance tickets, 10k per person and 5k per car. No guide.
Be sure to take extra care and time when you’re leaving, quite a rough drive down.
Its a nice place to camp, hike, chill .. fresh air, sunrise and streams, you can also continue your hike to tea plantation across the stream.
Hike to the tea plantation is quite a challenge especially for air if you’re not used to it. But the view is awesome, great background for your photos.
The wind is quite strong, its abt 18°C early morning before sunrise… but after sunrise its getting warmer, less windy.
Camping ground is ok, restrooms are nearby and quite ok. Some waroong are also available.
Downside is the trash, from snack wrappers, food covers, some broken plastic utensils to face masks can be found even though some trash bins are available ?
Suggest the site to provide more trash bins and maybe provide some trash bags for visitors.
Btw, bees are free flying and some even following … and beware of the monkeys.
Hopefully this place will improve, good potential. Surely will come back.
