★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Homy food. You can buy the menu written but they still have another separated side dishes that you can add. The "Es Cobra" was suprisingly good with a hint of fermented rice (tape) taste.

About 2 decades ago my favourite was 'nasi sosis' and avocado ice, with many side dishes : kerupuk, risoles, lunpia, etc
But now my favourite is mixed vegetables with peanut sauce a.k.a gado-gado. My son and me always order double portion of gado-gado here, really... it is that tasty for us, the peamut sauce was way better that before.
Check out the other dishes, they serves many combination of 'es campur' which is very refreshing, my daughter love them very much.
Yes, this is a good place to visit with family. So... Be sure to visit when you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here. Knew this place from IG posting and I came here for their modern fried chicken, deep fried chicken with butter and worcestershire sauce. The skin is still crispy and the meat is still moist and best if you soaked it with the sauce.
Nasi liwet is kinda look like nasi ayam of semarang than nasi liwet from Solo. The portion is very fulfilling and it has shredded chicken breast meat with opor sauce and off course sayur labu. Mix them all and you will have a party inside your mouth. Savoury yet creamy and spicy if you add some sambal on it.
The price is also surprising. Lunch for 4 only cost less than 150k. What a treat!
The issue here is the parking and limited seating. And even if you got a seat, it is also cramped, you might bumped into other guests :-)
