★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A somewhat traditional Chinese cuisine restaurant. Has been around for quiet sometimes. Famous for its Udang Mutiara and Babat dish. Bakmie goreng is a must on every table.
Comparison to the last time dining here (5 years difference):
Babat was available after 1830 (so couldn't compare).
Udang Mutiara still tasted good, but somehow far less crispy.
Bakmie goreng was somehow less tasty, the lap ciong was not fried dry enough.
Maybe they changed their cook (?) and the handing over was not that proper. That is too bad.
Pretty tricky to get here, but the parking space was adequate.

They serve old menu which is classic in taste.
You have to try the delicious gurame fish soup.
Parking is a bit squeezy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant has been around for ages. They used to be really really good but the quality might have dropped a little. The kodok and the lumpia udang is really good but the other dishes are pretty average. The service can be quite frantic but food comes out fairly quick. They have a number of private rooms upstairs with karaoke for functions like birthday.
