★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lokasinya di kompleks petilasan gunung gamping yang benar. Disitu tempat tinggal sementara Sri Sultan HB I sebelum Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat dibanguh. Material untuk membangun Kraton Yogyakarta konon diambil dari gunung gamping yang sekarang hanya tersisa seonggok batu gamping yang telah dijadikan wisata sejarah.
The location is in the correct limestone mountain range. There was the temporary residence of Sri Sultan HB I before the Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Palace was built. The material for building the Kraton Yogyakarta is said to have been taken from limestone mountains, which now only have a lump of limestone that has been used as historical tourism.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ini salah yg ngasih mark-nya. Coba geser ke kiri dikit, sudah ada yg ngasih pin “Petilasan Ambarketawang” di selatan “Gunung Gamping”.
Itu yg jadi cagar budaya bekas tempat tinggal Sultan HB I di kala menunggu selesai dibangunnya Kraton Jogja.
Kraton Ambarketawang ini sekarang tinggal puing beberapa tembok Kraton.
Yg menarik di sini adalah batu besar di situs Gunung Gamping, ritual tirakatan Kamis Pahing dan event Penyembelihan Bekakak (boneka pengantin yg terbuat dari ketan berisi gula jawa) di setiap bulan Jawa Sapar.
Konon dulunya yg dikorbankan untuk ritual ini adalah sepasang pengantin manusia untuk dipersembahkan pada penunggu Gunung Gamping. Karena HAM kalik jadi diganti boneka ketan yg diisi gula jawa cair yg kalau disembelih jadi mirip kucuran darah.

Interesting here is the large rock at the Gunung Gamping site, the Thursday Pahing tirakatan ritual and the Bekakak Slaughter event (a wedding doll made from sticky rice filled with Javanese sugar) in each of Java Sapar months.
It is said that once sacrificed for this ritual was a pair of human brides to be offered to the gatekeepers of Mt. Because multiply human rights replaced by sticky sticky rice filled with liquid brown sugar which when slaughtered it looked like blood was flowing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peninggalan sejarah diperkirakan berupa bekas Benteng dari Keraton/Pesanggrahan Ambarketawang. Terlihat hanya sebuah bongkahan bekas benteng tersebut dengan ±2m, panjang ±10m dan tinggi ±1,5m. Letaknya saat ini di tengah-tengah perumahan.
Historical relics are estimated to be the former fortress of the Keraton / Pesanggrahan Ambarketawang. You can see only a chunk of the former fortress with ± 2m, ± 10m long and ± 1.5m high. It is currently in the middle of housing.
