Kesempatan perdana saya mengunjungi Bukit Sikunci ketika mengikuti proses Pendidikan dan Latihan Dasar KAMAPALA INTAN ke XXVII yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 14 - 19 Januari 2020.
Bukit Sikunci termasuk hutan homogen yang didominasi oleh barisan pohon pinus yang cukup produktif.
Pagi sampai siang hari dari Bukit Sikunci kita bisa menikmati pemandangan Gunung Sumbing yang gagah dan indah dipandang (bila cuaca cerah) saat menghadap ke arah arah Timur Laut.
Sore harinya kita bisa menikmati syahdunya sunset yang tenggelam dengan pemandangan bukit barisan dari sisi sebaliknya.
Malam harinya kita bisa menikmati hangatnya api unggun berteman kopi panas sambil memandangi keindahan gugusan bintang dari Bukit Sikunci.
Penduduk asli sekitar Bukit Sikunci cukup ramah dan baik. Kepada kami (kalau boleh dibilang tamu) yang sedang melaksanakan kegiatan disana. Beberapa kali penduduk sekitar berinteraksi dan menawarkan untuk berkenan singgah dirumah mereka.
Lokasinya cukup ideal bagi yang suka camping bersama tanpa harus mendaki.
Dimohon dengan sangat kesadaran untuk tidak membuang sampah agar tetap menjaga kebersihan lokasi yang asri.

Incredible place!
My first opportunity was to visit Bukit Sikunci when following the XXVII KAMAPALA INTAN Basic Education and Training process which was held on January 14-19, 2020.
Sikunci Hill is a homogeneous forest dominated by rows of fairly productive pine trees.
Morning to noon from Sikunci Hill we can enjoy the majestic and beautiful view of Sumbing Mountain (when the weather is sunny) when facing towards the Northeast.
In the afternoon we can enjoy the sunset sunset syahdunya with views of the Bukit Barisan from the opposite side.
In the evening we can enjoy the warmth of the campfire hot coffee friends while looking at the beauty of the star clusters of Mount Sikunci.
The natives around Bukit Sikunci are quite friendly and kind. To us (if you could say guests) who are carrying out activities there. Several times the local residents interacted and offered to make a stopover at their home.
The location is quite ideal for those who like camping together without having to climb.
Please be very conscious not to throw away trash in order to keep the location clean.
