★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though there is always a long line they were quite good in manage order. The taste is far from salty so you should put some salty soy sauce or the sweet one to find perfect balance. Cannot beat the amount of chicken meat pile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A street vendor porridge with a strategy, that puts an insane amount of chicken shreds on their porridge dish to make it "viral". While the rice porridge it's self taste very normal... but they make it up by putting alot of ingredients and of course the huge amount of shredded chicken on top. Lucky the chicken shreds taste very nice. But that kind of amount of chicken topings leads to a very pricey dish of street vendor porridge. 30k Rupiah is a very expensive dish of porridge especially considering it is on a streetside pushcart.
Almost no place to park, very dark and dirty eating table. I suggest have it to go is a better option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to eat at BUBUR TATANG so often, defenitely the best taste of Indonesian porridge I've ever known, but the owner passed away years ago and unfortunately the family decided to discontinued the business.
This place is the COPY of the old Bubur Tatang, running by the ex-employee so they change the name to Bubur Jadul Legend. Same location and area, only this time they move it into small alley next to the older place.
I would say it's 90% similar with all those huge chicken shredded portion on top. I like it, but the old Bubur Tatang taste far better for sure.
If you are a long old customer like me (first eat at Tatang's 20+ years ago) you will know right away. What made it different is the taste of this rice porridge has slight to no taste, while the old Bubur Tatang already have flavorfull taste to it (secret recipe to the family, I guess).
To my experience there is no other place at Jakarta that sell Indonesian porridge this style, so I still highly recommended this.
