Bendungan Karian adalah bendungan yang terletak di provinsi Banten, di kabupaten/kota Lebak. Bendungan ini direncanakan akan memiliki kapasitas sebesar 314.7M3 dan diharapkan dapat mengairi lahan seluas 21.454 Ha, menyediakan pasokan air baku sebesar 9,10 M3/detik, dan menghasilkan listrik sebesar 0,65 MW.
Salah satu hal yang membuat pembangunan terhambat ialah masalah lahan.
Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) memiliki keberanian untuk melanjutkan proyek ini. Alhasil, proyek ini bisa dimulai pada Oktober 2015 dan ditargetkan rampung pertengahan 2019, dan bendungan akan benar-benar berfungsi pada 2020.
The construction of the Karian Dam in Lebak Regency, Banten has been planned since the 1980s. However, development has not continued and has only been implemented in the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Karian Dam is a dam located in Banten province, in the district / city of Lebak. The dam is planned to have a capacity of 314.7M3 and is expected to irrigate 21,454 hectares of land, provide a raw water supply of 9.10 M3 / second, and generate electricity of 0.65 MW.
One of the things that hampers development is land issues.
