*โBarangsiapa yang berbekam pada tanggal 17, 19, dan 21 maka itu adalah kesembuhan dari segala macam penyakit.โ*

Maka, Rasulullah pun berbekam setiap bulan untuk ikhtiar menjaga kesehatan beliau dan memilih satu tanggal di tanggal sunnah (tanggal 17, 19 atau 21). Rasulullah pun memerintahkan kita agar berbekam di salah satu tanggal-tanggal tersebut.
Imam asy-Syuyuthi menukil pendapat Ibnu Umar, bahwa berbekam dalam keadaan perut kosong itu adalah paling baik karena dalam hal demikian terdapat kesembuhan.
Maka disarankan bagi yang hendak berbekam untuk tidak makan-makanan berat 2-3 jam sebelumnya.

If the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, and peace be upon the saints and angels, and if they be gathered together for seven days,

So, Rasulullah also cupped every month to try to maintain his health and chose a date on the date of the sunnah (17th, 19th or 21st). Rasulullah also ordered us to cup on one of these dates.
Imam asy-Syuyuthi quoted the opinion of Ibn Umar, that cupping on an empty stomach is the best because in that case there is healing.
So it is recommended for those who want to cup not to eat heavy foods 2-3 hours before.
