★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for not-really-pricey batiks with many designs in Salatiga, this is the place. There are two stores: Benang Raja and Benang Raja Premium. The batik quality in the Premium one are better. The price is cheaper in the other, though, but in the Premium, it's not that pricey, too. Good place for buying gift for your loved ones back home. Also available batik for couple (sarimbitan).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cheap place for batik enthusiast. This store can also be an alternative if you're thinking about getting gifts for friends or relatives. One piece just costs around 30k IDR and above (depends on the material & type), unisex, from kids to adult, even the couple and family set are availabele as well. But if you're more like a DIY-person, you can buy only their fabric and then have it your cut. For outsiders, make sure to give this shop a visit when you're in Salatiga.
