Mampir ke kafe yang satu ini pas ke Ashta karena penasaran. Rupanya pilihan pastry mereka juga cukup lengkap.
Aku mencoba menu vegan donut & scone yang ukurannya cukup besar.
Yang kucoba :
1. Vegan Donut -- Chocolate Ganache (IDR 30k)
Tekstur adonannya lembut, padahal vegan. Isian xoklatnya pun cukup banyak, namun cenderung oversweet buatku.
Selain itu donutnya juga agak oily menurutku. Mungkin isian yang tebal buat menetralisir mual karena oily, namun jadi kemanisan.
2. Cranberry Scone (IDR 38k)
Kalau kalian mau yang less sweet, ini salah satu menu yang bisa dipilih. Adonan sconenya wangi dengan taburan cranberry di dalamnya. Rasanya cukup oke.

Stopped by this one cafe right into Ashta out of curiosity. Apparently their pastry selection is also quite complete.
I tried the vegan donut & scone menu which is quite large.
What I tried:
1. Vegan Donut -- Chocolate Ganache (IDR 30k)
The texture of the dough is soft, even though it's vegan. The chocolate filling is also quite a lot, but tends to be oversweet for me.
In addition, the donuts are a bit oily in my opinion. Maybe a thick filling to neutralize nausea because it's oily, but so sweet.
2. Cranberry Scones (IDR 38k)
If you want something less sweet, this is one of the menus to choose from. The scones are fragrant with a sprinkling of cranberries inside. It feels pretty okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always love going here. The only place in ashta that i recommend to my friends. The coffee is just right for me. The cereal milk is amazing. And our usual order for the food: butter croissant (enak bgt), bakmie ayam (enak bgt jg), burger (enak bgt jg), and our usual order for the dessert would be the bread and butter pudding, which tastes better than the ones served in fancier restos. However, during my visit today, the bread and butter pudding was a bit on the salty side,. Forgot to inform the waitress tho. But its not a negative or traumatizing experience for me as people makes mistakes once in a while. Just thought that its something to look into further. Would i go there again? Absolutely! Especially for the bread and butter pudding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place with delicious food, we tried brunch there with tacos and bfast set. The taste of the food justified the price. Picollo coffee is superb, oh ya and the Music selection is awesome. Well done bartisserie, surely gonna coming back for more.
