β β β β β Indonesian restaurant specialized in selling bakso, customer has the option of adding bakso urat or halus, others as their wish with per piece price. Customer can chose bihun, noodle or rice with the option of 1/2 rice. Its bakso was a-okay though mixed with other available option create a decent tasting meal.

β β β β β First of all, they opened everyday Mon-Sat 10:30AM - 21:00, and they are closed every Wed (second & fourth week).
Taste is ok.. no MSG in the soup, recommended if you are looking for snack between meal time. :)

β β β β β It's great fun when it is a customizable meatballs and fritters on your bowl. Decent and cheap, it won't break the bank as long as you're not going berserk. The meatballs are good but soup is mediocre though so you have to do a bit of work to take it up a notch.

β β β β β In this new normal era, I personally prefer bringing my own lunch to the office. Usually, wife would prepare her own cooking but this time I ordered the night before from GrabFood.
Bakso Malang is a signature meatball soup dish from Malang, East Java. The difference is other than your regular meat balls and stuffed tofu, they usually come with wonton/dumpling fritters known as bakwan. Bakwan is basically fried wonton/dumpling with a minced seafood mixture (probably fish and shrimp mixed with chicken/beef) stuffing.
You can quite easily get Bakso Malang almost everywhere from your neighbourhood food stalls or even at shopping malls. However, I personally think that Bakso Malang Nonik is not your regular Bakso Malang, it is another level of Bakso Malang.
The soup broth is just perfect, it tasted very natural and seasoned just right.
I always go for the beef tendon meatballs (bakso urat) and I love the texture of their bakso urat.
Their siomay and stuffed tofu were quite ordinary but you can tell that it's made from good quality ingredients.
The star of the show is of course the bakwan itself, it is stuffed generously so at the same time you get to experience the umami of the stuffing and the crunch of the fried wonton/dumpling skin.
Yes, it manages to stay crunchy even though it's been swimming on the broth.
One thing I did not get to try is the chilli sambal (regreted that I left the chilli at home).
Overall, very satisfied with Bakso Malang Nonik ?
I can say it is one of the best halal Bakso Malang I have tried ?
Pricewise, at GrabFood it is Rp 6K per piece, most probably cheaper when you buy directly from the shop.
However, I bought it with GrabFood Promo (60% discount) so it was less than Rp 30K including delivery fee for 7 pcs.
What a GREAT DEAL, right? ?
Will definitely repeat order and recommend Bakso Malang Nonik to relatives and friends ??
