The taste of the meatballs, complete with veins & empanadas, is really good!
Service is more friendly than M*d/K*C.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bakso Babat Agung ini berasal dari Salatiga, salah satu kota yang memang terkenal dengan baksonya yang enak dan Bakso Babat Agung ini juga udah punya banyak cabang di Jawa dan Jakarta loh.
Di outlet cabang Kelapa Gading ini, lokasinya ada di Jl. Boulevard jadi mudah diakses dan strategis. Ada 2 lantai, lantai 1 untuk kasir + display bakso (ada beberapa meja juga dan tidak ber AC), sementara lantai 2 full AC untuk dine in indoor. Fasilitas juga lengkap, ada wifi, colokan dan kamar mandi.
Aku pesan menu yang sempat viral Hot K-Cheese Ball, ini isinya ada bakso keju, sosis sapi, jagung manis dan potato wedges lalu diatasnya dikasih keju mozarella dan disiram dengan saus smoked barbeque. Rasanya enak banget! Daging bakso dan sosisnya enak ga tepung doang dan saus barbequenya juga pas kebetulan aku ga begitu suka pedas dan ini pas menurutku. Yang agak fatal itu keju mozarellanya, aku duduk di lantai 2, ketika pesanan sampai waitersnya lupa kasih alat makan jadi karena harus nunggu kejunya jadi keras duluan padahal kalau langsung dimakan pasti enak lumer gitu.
Aku juga coba crispy empanadas, aku coba yang black mozza dan rasanya enak banget! Kulit luarnya crispy dipadu sama saus sambalnya cocok banget!
Kalau soal rasa menu kayanya oke semua, minusnya hanya di pelayanan aja, mungkin bisa ditingkatkan lagi knowledge waitersnya dengan produk yang dijual.
This Babat Agung Bakso comes from Salatiga, a city that is indeed famous for its delicious meatballs and this Babat Agung Bakso also has many branches in Java and Jakarta.
At this Kelapa Gading branch outlet, the location is on Jl. Boulevard so easily accessible and strategic. There are 2 floors, the 1st floor is for the cashier + meatball display (there are a few tables too and it's not air conditioned), while the 2nd floor is fully air conditioned for indoor dine-in. The facilities are also complete, there is wifi, plugs and a bathroom.
I ordered the menu that had viral Hot K-Cheese Ball, it contained cheese meatballs, beef sausage, sweet corn and potato wedges then topped with mozzarella cheese and drizzled with smoked barbecue sauce. It tastes so good! The meatballs and sausages are delicious, not just flour and the barbeque sauce is also just right, I don't really like spicy, and this was just right for me. The rather fatal thing was the mozzarella cheese, I sat on the 2nd floor, when the order arrived the waiters forgot to give the cutlery so because I had to wait for the cheese to get hard first, even though if you eat it right away, it will melt.
I also tried the crispy empanadas, I tried the black mozza and it was really good! The crispy outer skin combined with the chili sauce is perfect!
When it comes to the taste of the menu, everything is okay, the only minus is the service, maybe the knowledge of the waiters can be improved with the products being sold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bakso Agung is a meatball restaurant that serves beef and fish meatball along with the other toppings that we could choose, such as pangsit goreng / basah, bakso tahu goreng / kukus, siomay goreng / basah, bakso goreng, beef tripe, tongue, and many more. They provide variant of meatball in some menu packages. I tried their food by using a food delivery service.
Here are what I tried :
Bakso Komplit Halus (IDR 42,000)
This menu consists of two beef meatballs, noodles, bihun (white rice vermicelli), fried beancurd, kekian, beef tripe, fried wonton, fried onions, celery in a clear broth.
Crispy Empanadas Hot Spicy (IDR 25,000)
Cheese and spicy sauce in a fried wonton skin with mayonnaise that has long stick shape with a crispy texture. Served it with the chili sauce. This could be a good side dish or snack ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too pricey for bakso dishes so this is not a typical warung bakso u can find at your local resident or at abang2. The meatball is very tender and smooth, u can taste the meat instantly once u chew it. The dishes also come with many variations including intestines such as kidney, tongue, etc.
And now no one come here to eat here during pandemic because it feels too pricey for a bowl of meatball dishes.
