β β β β β This is one of the legend noodle in Jembatan Lima, West Jakarta area with an affordable price. This noodle stall is located at the edge of the road with the street parking available. The place is small and narrow with for about four tables for dining in.
One of the characteristic of Bakmi Suikiau is the wall is sticked with a lot of posters that show Asian actors, actresses, and singers. The owner is surely a fan girl. She said to me that she liked the drama where the actors and actresses played the role. She also gathered the posters from Asian Star tabloid long time ago, covered each poster with plastic. It is definitely will catch our attention ?
They provide noodle (we could choose the thin or thick one), white rice noodle, white rice vermicelliοΌ and also rice menu. We ordered for takeaway. Here are what I tried :
Bakmi Suikiau (IDR 23,000)
Just like the name of this noodle stall, we cannot miss their suikiau. I chose the thin noodle texture. The noodle is served with minced pork, crispy fried lard, vegetables, spring onions, tongcai (Tianjin preserved vegetable), along with two pieces of suikiau. I like the crispy fried lard that is very less oily. I think the serving will be good without tongcai because this one will make the taste very salty.
Nasi Campur + Sate (IDR 33,000)
White rice served with chasiu pork, ngohiong, bean curd, gizzard, pork satay, boiled egg, along with the separated clear broth. Poured this mix rice with the soy and garlic sauce.
