★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely special khek noodle (or rice vermicelli / bihun) with both pork and chicken mushroom toppings. Braised egg and chicken liver as well as siewkiau (wonton) for side dish. Crispy pork lard also available. Delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our family fav noodle spot. This is non halal restaurant and they serve quite simple menu, noodle, kwetiaw, bihun, locupan topped with minced meats, mushroom & spring onion. Add additional fried wonton, fried meat ball, egg, etc. The space is clean and neat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bakmi Khek 63 is a legendary noodle restaurant originally from Medan, North Sumatra. They have expanded their business to Jakarta since 1985. The signature menu is definitely noodle with the toppings that you could choose, such as pork, chicken, mushroom. If you don't eat meat, they provide vegetarian noodle as well. Besides noodle, they also provide bihun, kwetiaw, and locupan.
If you're a fan of this noodle and want to serve it by yourself at home, Bakmi Khek 63 also provides the frozen version in pouch!
During the pandemic, they require everyone to wear a face mask.
I tried Bakmi Khek (IDR 37,000). A bowl of noodle served with pork, chicken, mushrooms, green onions, along with the clear broth with vegetables and green onions that is served separately.
