Legendary bakmi at Jakarta. You can choose half, one, one and half portion, chicken meat (thigh/breast). Baso goreng and suikiaw are tasty. No veggies in the bakmi (only noodles and chicken). Price $$ for two person

Excellent job on How thet keep this old resto busy every morning! I m really addicted to the taste of their Mie ayam. Nice texture of the daily fresh-made noodles stirred perfectly with the secret sauce. The tender sliced chicken on the top and soft minced meat balls at the side make you guaranteed the tummy satisfied. The most important thing is their smoky hot sambal (chilly sauce) that enhances the taste of the mie ayam.

I may say it has a unique noodle tenderness. For those who like a soft noodle, i suggest not to try it, but for those who like it hard and need effort (i really mean it) to chew (that's why they called it mie karet) then go for it. Because this noodle shop is LEGEND.

Comes with big portion. You can choose the type of the noodles. They also have bakso goreng, pangsit goreng, and many more. This place located right next to BCA building. Before the corner. The old lady is very kind btw.

I accidentally eat here because the concierge escort me straight to this place eventhough I was planning to go to the next noodle restaurant! It was funny though! Anyway, this noodle stall offered two kind of noodles, the rubber and the small noodle. Both of them were okay for me. The rubber noodle was thick and chewy, sometimes you can taste the flour (not sure it was planned or maybe not boiled enough). While the small one was more like any other original small and soft noodle. The signatures for this place are the stock and slices of chicken. The chicken is ayam kampung. The taste is rich, meaty yet rather plain. Probably better if added more spices and salt. You have to adjust the taste by yourself by adding pepper, sambal, and salt. The place was not big, only several chairs and desks, not ventilated enough (not so comfortable when the kitchen is on fire and the customers were smoking). The price for the noodle is 35k (it can be vary if you order extra chicken).

I’m a regular customer here. Even during pandemic, I always order the take away every saturday morning. The fried meatball is really good and If you’re not really into the big breakfast/brunch. I’d recommended you to order the half portion bakmie first! And OOOH! They also sell homemade kue putu ayu which is really good!
