★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of bakmi jawa seller in alun alun wates. Pak Sogol is quite famous. You can choose either bihun (thin rice vermicelli) or mie kuning (yellow noodle). And you can choose the cooking method either fried or boiled. Compare to the bakmi Jawa in Jogja city, the wates version dont use much sweet soy sauce, so for some people it may be too bland. But actually it is unique and delicious in its own way. Pak Sogol still use charcoal stove so it added unique sensation of the taste

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a really delicious javanese noodles. besides noodles. this noodle shops also makes a delicious "magelangan" and nasi goreng. but the service should be faster. so the visitor wouldn't starve while waiting for the food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A popular street food stall offering Javanese noodle dishes near Wates Square (Alun-alun Wates), Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Customers sit on carpets on the street trotoir. I and my wife came here to buy boiled yellow noodle (mi godog) and fried white noodle (bihun goreng). The taste and textute were 3/5 for both noodles. Already crowded at 08:30 p.m., long waiting.
