★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food wise, it’s one of my favorite restaurants for chicken and meatball noodles.
My favorite is their special bakmi GM, complete with chicken toppings, dumplings and meatball. I also love their pangsit goreng or fried dumpling. Another favorite menu is tahu bakso or mixed tofu, chicken & shrimp.
It’s strategically located near Thamrin City, center for batik, moslem wear and clothing. It’s usually full during lunch and dinner. Service is good fast, you can also get extra discounts using Ovo, GoPay, Link Aja, Dana and some major credit cards from BCA and Mandiri

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bakmi GM at Thamrin City Mall is a branch restaurant of the popular Bakmi Gajah Mada restaurant.
This restaurant is located at Thamrin City, the wholesaler market for fashions, batik, and other fashion stuff.
The location is strategic for the restaurant and no wonder at lunchtime or late afternoon the restaurant is always full of customers.
The menu mostly is similar to another branch and the signature dish is a noodle, any kind of noodle you can ask from the plain noodle only to the special noddle with mushroom.
But if you don't want to eat noodle, there are rice menus with many variant dishes, such as black pepper chicken rice, dumpling chicken rice, meatball chicken rice, etc.
For a side dish, this restaurant has a lot of variant things from meatballs, shiomay, etc and the most popular one from this restaurant is crispy fried dumpling.
To take home you can buy Krispy Chips Salted Egg.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant service is good, it served two spot for smoking & non-smoking spot. It'll better if after the customer finished eat, the workers quickly clean the table, served to the new customer so they won't wait too long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK-ish, just another counter of the popular chain. But, mopping the floor while customers are dining is annoying. Classic nice-try to close shop for the day, but seriously even there was still 15 mins left even if it closes at 9 PM. Still an expected quality of food; do consider takeaway.

Noodles can be better though, tasted a bit bland to me.
