★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Bakmi Jawa cooked with the signature charcoal stove (anglo). I always add more pepper but it's as good as you expect a hearty Bakmi Jawa in Jogja. My MIL, a true born Jogjanese, frequently visit here, so I guess it's good enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Bakmi Djogja version recommended to try. Located in Pasar Minggu South Jakarta, this place easy to reach. The restaurant is simple, no air conditoning but lots of visitor. If you visit this restaurant, try the boiled noddle, containing shredded kampung chicken. I order the special one with chicken wings addition. The taste was delicious, savory and fresh. The chicken broth is very tasty. If you like spicy, the resto also provide cayenne pepper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really love to taste the javaness noodle or traditional fried rice at this restaurant. Yes, You need to be patient when waiting your order because this restaurant still using traditional cooking method (using charcoal/carbon). That why, the taste of their menu is still great....
