★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In this street, Pahlawan st, you will find several (three if Im not mistaken) doyong fried chicken resto. They are owned by different people but all of them are related, as they said. And to park here sometimes a bit tricky but you can always get assisted by local people there/parking officer.
I personally prefer warung doyong 1. Their chicken is very tasty, one is not enough, especially if you dip it into their sambal, the best! Beside the traditional fried chicken, you can also try their pepes (tofu, anchovies, salted fish peda) and varieties of cooked vegetables (possibly differ everyday). Also, I love their fresh fruit juice made by request (mango, strawberry, guava, soursop, orange, etc or you may combine it) for 20k. The juice was thick and refreshing.
This place closed at 2 pm, and the staff were friendly and fast. You may not be able to eat while hanging out because the dining area was not too big and a lot of people come and go. The rotation is very quick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place looks shabby, located in right smack in the corner of jalan aut. A bit dark from outside. But don't let that fool you, the foos served here is really delicious.
So when you come to this place, you will be asked how many rice (plate of rice) do you want and you choose how many the fried chicken,tofu or Tempe that you want. Then, go to veggie corner, where you can take as much as you want and there a lot of selections! And there's salted squid too.
The place was managed by a close knit family, and they are all busy bee...
The chicken was seasoned well, the sour soup was on point, all the veggies was cooked with very good seasoning.
The verdict: I'll be back to taste their food again!
